The Physical Teleology of Syntropic Interaction: An Experimentally Testable Anthropic Cosmology

چکیده
The Cognitive model Mind = Brain is grossly incorrect. The alternative chosen is an extended form of Eccles-Cartesian interactive dualism with a physically real Cartesian res cogitans "mind stuff" (that does not violate the laws of thermodynamics or conservation of energy) that interacts with res extensa "body stuff". We equate the required 'life principle' with the unified field of physics or if preferred the ubiquitous spirit of God represented as the 3rd regime in the progression Classical Quantum Unified Field Mechanics. This noetic paradigm is empirically testable. We now have 14 experimental protocols to falsify the model. We will discuss details of the physical cosmology of the unified theory creating an ‘Empirical Metaphysics’ by integrating science and theology and outline the empirical tests. We believe the ancient mind-body problem has now been summarily solved. “There is ... only being.” – Albert Einstein [1] If [all physicists] follow the same current fashion in expressing and thinking about electrodynamics or field theory, then the variety of hypotheses being generated ... is limited. Perhaps rightly so, for possibly the chance is high that the truth lies in the fashionable direction. But, on the off chance that it is in another direction a direction obvious from an unfashionable view of field theory who will find it? Only someone who sacrifices himself ... from a peculiar and unusual point of view, one may have to invent for himself Richard Feynman, Nobel Prize lecture.

Prediction and typicality in multiverse cosmology
In the absence of a fundamental theory that precisely predicts values for observable parameters, anthropic reasoning attempts to constrain probability distributions over those parameters in order to facilitate the extraction of testable predictions. The utility of this approach has been vigorously debated of late, particularly in light of theories that claim we live in a multiverse, where param...
متن کاملAstrophysical Fine Tuning, Naturalism, and the Contemporary Design Argument
Evidence for instances of astrophysical ‘fine tuning’ (or ‘coincidences’) is thought by some to lend support to the design argument (i.e. the argument that our universe has been designed by some deity). We assess some of the relevant empirical and conceptual issues. We argue that astrophysical fine tuning calls for some explanation, but this explanation need not appeal to the design argument. A...
متن کاملAnthropic reasoning and typicality in multiverse cosmology and string theory
Anthropic arguments in multiverse cosmology and string theory rely on the weak anthropic principle (WAP). We show that the principle is fundamentally ambiguous. It can be formulated in one of two ways, which we refer to as WAP1 and WAP2. We show that WAP2, the version most commonly used in anthropic reasoning, makes no physical predictions unless supplemented by a further assumption of “typical...

Anthropic arguments in multiverse cosmology and string theory rely on the weak anthropic principle (WAP). We show that the principle, though ultimately a tautology, is nevertheless ambiguous. It can be reformulated in one of two unambiguous ways, which we refer to as WAP1 and WAP2. We show that WAP2, the version most commonly used in anthropic reasoning, makes no physical predictions unless sup...
متن کاملCIW Cosmology Symposium: Conference Summary — Observations
I review the major concordances and controversies of the meeting concerning observations. Cosmologists are nearing agreement on the global cosmological parameters of the Universe. A few parameters still have large error bars, notably Ωmat , but most of these windows will close soon with upcoming accurate observations of the CMB. The major era of chasing the major cosmological parameters is now ...
